This week we wrapped up our October studies and began learning new skills to support our transition into the energy of creation for our business immersion deep dive over the next four weeks.

Our language program shifted to reflect business language and definitions, and our math program had students engaging in math games that supports their capacity to count quickly and act decisively. I shared a lecture with students around business highlighting The School of Magic and the service we offer, and some of the student businesses. Every student was interviewed regarding how they prefer to move forward in their business, what they will be doing, name and logo support, brainstorming and materials. These bright entrepreneurs are all ready to shine their lights into the world. On Monday students will begin writing proposals for their businesses, choosing names and logos and creating order lists. Please understand that business details may change without notice, and that all of these decisions come from what makes each student feel great about themselves <3

As students wrapped up their posters this week, and presented on Wednesday during our learning circle, they had the opportunity to share the work they completed in their small groups. We now have some guidelines around what a great presentation looks like, and how well they get to know the information on their posters when they present.

Creation as a magic curriculum area was introduced this week, first through our raffle quilt and granny square projects, and then through the curriculum. Students learned about badge requirements for the levels offered:

One - make 3 easy projects from the project bin.

Two - complete 3 moderate to advanced projects or create up to 3 of your own project bags.

Three - support at least 1 student to be successful in your creation for 3 separate project bags.

Everyone chose a project to explore creation. I am VERY excited to see them all completed and experience the journey through that with them all. Khloe and Kassidy chose to contribute to the quilt we will raffle off at Share The Magic Day. Their photo is in the banner.

Make a beautiful weekend magical families!
