Seedling & Sapling CORE Apr 7-9

Our week began with sharing the news in our community that our friends Alec & Kennley Nead have left our school community. We made space to send good energy to all of our friends no longer with us in the classroom. Some students chose to create cards during our morning reflection time while others chose to write in their confidence journal. This week's journal focus was on affirmations.

We welcomed Courtney Roddis back today to share more learning around the Solar Plexus Chakra's and how these energies show up in our body and our lives. Student's really enjoy their meditation time and we continue to utilize the meditation in the classroom.

We started another round of Jeopardy this week, repotted our Aloe plants for sale, did a mock set up for Share the Magic Day to be organized and printed out a lot of business stickers....all in preparation for our sale on Wednesday. Everyone set SMART goals for the sale on Wednesday. The week was spent doing last minute preparations for Share The Magic Day.

Share The Magic Sale Day

Everyone had a great time selling their wares. Everyone was able to enjoy the day earning from their hard work and being together in the spirit of business. In our circle before the sale, everyone that wanted to shared their feelings around the day. The majority of students were excited with 1 student expressing nervousness. Discussion ensued around excitement vs nervousness and mindset. Lots of high fives happened throughout the day, and our first business to provide a service had 7 orders!!!! We had one small business sell out of product half way through the sale too! I know I am looking forward to the awarenesses that will inevitably come on Monday when everything is counted, accounted for, and preliminary plans for the next sale day will occur.
